DIY Circle Scarf
Today I want to show you one of my favorite DIY: knitting a circle scarf completely without needles – only using your fingers.
That may sound a little bit weird, but you’ll see that it’s a lot of fun and really easy to do.
Everything you need is some wool. How much you need depends on the length and width you want for your scarf.
Step 1:
Take the end of the yarn and put it around your hand like that:
One around your thumb and your index finger, behind the middle finger to your ring finger.
put the wool yarn around the fingers that are still left free
Step 2:
Lay the yarn over your fingers
Now the “finger knitting” is about to start.
Pull the loop that is around your index finger over the loose yarn. Pull it over your finger until it looks like that:
Go on like that with the other fingers as well:
Step 3
Lay the yarn over your fingers again like before. Now you simply go on with the “knitting”: pulling the loops ore the loose yarn – just in the other direction.
(Number 8 is only to check if did everything right)
If you go on like this, repeating the steps 2 and 3, your scarf will be growing in length on the back of your hand.
You did everything right if the pattern looks like that:
A little hint for those who want their scarf to be wider:
Tinker something like that out of things you have at home. I used some cardboard, tape and some lipsticks:
Important: the lipsticks (or whatever you may use) should at least be as thick as a finger. Otherwise it would be too difficult to pull the loops over the loose yarn.
The knitting with this little tool is like I showed you above – no difference.
As soon as you feel your scarf is long enough, all you need to do is sewing the ends together – and there it is: your self-made circle scarf!

Haha, coole Idee. Ob ich das hin bekomme… Hält das denn, wenn die Hand “zu ende” ist und man den Schal weiter strikt?
Ja das hält auf jeden Fall beim weiterstricken. :)

haha, das ist ja ne süße Idee :) ich glaube allerdings, irgendwann würden meine Finger verkrampfen..
Ich bin auch im Moment dabei, mir einen Schal zu stricken, allerdings ganz klassisch, mit Stricknadeln!
Sieht aber hübsch aus, das Endergebnis!

Super Erklärung:) Habs jetzt kurz mit einfacher Kordel ausprobiert, sogar ich hab das verstanden! :D Muss mir mal Wolle besorgen.
Dann bin ich mal gespannt wie dein Schal aussieht wenn er fertig ist :)
Tolle Anleitung bin heute in ein Handarbeitsgeschäft gegangen und hab mit wolle besorgt, da ich meinen Schal auch etwas dicker wollte hab ich mir dann auch so ein hübsches Gestell gebastelt wie du nur das ich anstatt Labellos Reagenzgläßer benutzt habe. Meine Familie hält mich jetzt etwas für Wahnsinnig weil ich mit so einem “Gerät” einen Schal stricken möchte aber was solls!
Hihi. Meine Schwester hat auch ganz verwundert geguckt, als ich diese Labello Konstruktion gebastelt habe. Aber es hat ja funktioniert wie man sieht ;D
