First Impression:

The Sun Kissed Limited Edition reminds me of several summer LEs: bold colours, waterproof textures and even some products to achieve the “ultimate beachglow”. My opinion in one sentence: Nice, but nothing special.

Besides, as far as I am concerned, this Trend Edition doesn’t fit in thematically. When I think about spring, I see pastells, flower patterns, birds, butterflies, soft textures, etc.

Whatever. Some of the products look quite promising. The highlight of the LE, the shimmer spray, could be nice to enhance your sun tan. I also like the eyeshadows and eyeliners, even if I am not a fan of wearing blue or red on my eyelids.

The self tanning wipes are nice, but not really neccessary. You can get them pretty much everywhere. The lipsticks will be rather sheer I suppose and the shimmer powder will contain too much glitter for my taste.

If you like cheek tints or not, well that’s up to you. All I have tried so far were rather difficult to blend without staining your fingers.

About the nail polishes … nice, fit in this beach theme, but there is no special shade in my opinion.

I recently discovered how great Pinterest and Tumblr are when you are looking for awesome nail designs. I bookmarked a lot of them and I can’t wait to show you my favourites!

Today I want to show you a easy nail design using hole-puncher rings. They are cheap and create such a lovely pattern on our nails – love it!

You will need three different shades of nailpolish. I used pink polish, but you could as well use your favourite color like green or blue etc.

Since Valentine’s day is approaching, I prefer the pink version :3

[p2 is a German own brand. You can find it at German "DM" drugstores. The quality of those nail polishes is great and they prices are really low (like under 2 €)]

The situation for children in the affected areas is still very far from having returned to the normal fun of childhood. The children of the Fukushima area in particular are severely affected – where very real concerns over radiation levels mean that playing outside is too dangerous.  Despite decontamination efforts, many school playgrounds remain off limits and outdoor play in streets and parks is not possible – meaning that children are playing alone in their houses on computers more and more whilst exercise, free running and mixing with peer groups is severely reduced.

I just wanted to show you my vampire Halloween look. I did a YouTube tutorial for this look, I’ll post it to my blog when I’m done editing :3

This look is so easy. All you need is a red lipstick, an eyeliner and some eyeshadow and mascara. You can improvise with these products if you need to. If you have them already, I’d also recommend bronzer and highlighter for contouring, blush and pale foundation.

I used some of the “Vampires Love” (Twilight LE) products by essence – love the highlighter and the lipstains!

010 Red My Lips | 030 Are You Red-y?

I really like the packing, it’s quite fancy ♥

You get 5 ml for about 4 € (depending on the country).

Like all lipstains or liptints, these glosses are going to “dye” your lips with long-lasting color. It’s more or less waterproof, doesn’t smear, stain, wear unevenly, or transfer to the teeth.

Some swatches, so you can see what the tints are going to do to your skin. Left: lip tints immediately after application – Right: after removing all excess color.

You can see how it dies the skin – don’t panic, you can remove it easily with make-up remover or soap^^

The more you apply it, the more intense the results! If you prefer a more natural look, you apply it only once, but if you want to add some more color, you can repeat that step several times.

Comparison:

010 Red My Lips

A nice bloody red with a hint of orange.

030 Are You Red-y?

A dark berry tone. (BTW: berry tones are great if you want your teeth look whiter)

Conclusion:

The liptints are easy to apply and are not too sticky. If you have very dry lips, you should use a lipbalm in advance. The smell of the product is quite sweet – I like it, but I think it really depends on the person. The colors are really nice, but what I like best is, that you can decide how intense the color is going to be. The glosses are long-lasting and are not transferable. Despite eating and drinking, there is still some color left.

What I don’t like: the price. About 4 Euros for a 5 ml gloss is quite pricy. Fortunatetly, you only need very little product each time you apply it. You also don’t have to renew it after an hour or so (unlike lipstick).

I’d recommend the liptints, but you should first check if you like the smelling. ♥
