WHO IS CHEANA
I’m a university student, living in Bavaria, southern Germany. I major in foreign languages, one of the reasons why I decided to have a bilingual blog, as well as two Twitter accounts (one for my german and one for my english speaking friends). I love blogging, trying new things, being creative, shopping and traveling. I’m also a self-proclaimed social media ho: I’m addicted to Twitter & Co. and 24/7 online. Not even kidding. I started blogging in 2010. I’m a huge fan of beauty and fashion blogs and so I decided to start my own. I always had a passion for beauty and fashion and the blog gives me the possibility to share it with persons with similar interests. I really love to create new looks, try out new things and share my photos and thoughts with my readers. Writing reviews and reading your comments make me feel like talking to friends. Chatting about shopping hauls, exchanging make-up tips, dressing up and taking photos … I LOVE it!

Haha definitely not! I think most of my readers would be quite astonished if they saw me walking down the street. I’m more “the girl next door” than the average beauty guru or fashionista. Don’t get me wrong: I love fashion and make-up! But only to a certain extend. It’s more like playing around – remember how we used to dress up as ladies with mummys shoes and her expensive lipstick? Remember how much fun it was? Well that’s more or less how I feel about it. I love to wear it, but I also love to be just me, less make-up and casual clothes.
I admire how much effort some girls seem to put in her every day styles: I prefer wearing jeans and a comfy sweater in combination with natural basic make-up to a dramatic look with high heels and a hairstyle that took at least half an hour to create it. Girls you rock! But to be very honest: going to uni is not special enough for me to put so much effort in my outfit / look.
So… what I really like besides all this shopping stuff: I like reading, even if I don’t have enough time for it at the moment. I also like taking photos, not just self-portraits, but also conceptual and nature pictures. Cooking and baking are two other passions of mine. What I really like at the moment is thai food and cooking marmalade.
I’m somewhat old fashioned and really girly when it comes to certain things… I really like “tea time” for example. I know that British people don’t really have that anymore, but I still like it: Having tea and sandwiches and chatting with friends and family. It’s such a nice way to spend time together! I also have a very girly side: I love pink stuff, everything that’s cute (like Hello Kitty, Pusheen cat, owls and cats, etc.), Bubble Tea, hoodies with bear ears on it, KPop, ulzzang girls and otome games (Voltage Inc. games are fab!). So it won’t surprise anyone that Japan and Korea are like wonderland to me – so much cuteness! (And one of many reasons why I have a thing for Korean cosmetics).
Well… and I like a lot of things I’m not exceptionally good at, like drawing, knitting (I learned it by myself last winter) or playing around with photoshop, but it would take hours to mention all of them. Let’s just say: I like trying out new things.
